Militia formed in Austin Texas in 1984 during the sudden explosion of the Texas metal scene. In 1985, Militia released what would become one of the most highly sought after pieces of vinyl in the history of metal, the 12" EP entitled "The Sybling". Original copies have sold for over $3000 on multiple occasions.
